About T. Wilson Flanders

I've lived in Western Massachusetts since 1983 and I love it here. I've lived in the Village of Shelburne Falls since 2000 and I've decided that I will live here for the rest of my life. I spend a lot of my time outdoors: hiking, snowshoeing, camping, tracking, birding, practicing ancient nature skills, kayaking, fishing, bicycling, and hunting. I currently serve on the Town of Shelburne Planning Board and in the past I served as a board member and President of the Greater Shelburne Falls Area Business Association.

I've been involved since 1995 in deeply transformative men's work which teaches men a perspective and a skill set they can use to become the men they want to be. (See the Mankind Project website for more information.) I developed and ran, with a team of women, a project to introduce women to the same perspective and skill set I've been teaching men. I am always happy to talk with men or women about this amazing work.

My Passion

I am passionate about creating a new, more economically, emotionally, and environmentally sustainable culture in which we human beings live closely integrated with the natural world and more peacefully and cooperatively with each other. Much of my work on this long-term project is done through a bioregionally-oriented, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, the Central Connecticut River Valley Institute, of which I am the President. I would thoroughly enjoy using my legal services to help you with projects which help move our culture in the direction I'd like to see it go.

My Rates

My normal hourly rate is $250.00 per hour. As you browse my website, you will see that I have established fixed fees for many standard projects. If you are a new client considering using my services, I will provide you with a free 30-minute initial consultation to give you a chance to decide whether to work with me.

The Geographical Area I Serve

Most of my clients live and/or work in Franklin and Hampshire Counties of Massachusetts. I do, however, work with people from all around the Commonwealth. In addition, I will help non-profit organizations in any state apply for tax-exempt status with the IRS.
